Field Trips
Introduction
Field trips have been very popular in the past and are a time when members can get together and really enjoy the beautiful CPs Victoria has to offer.Usually there are one or two such trips each year. Many new members are amazed that there are so many CPs in Victoria and to learn that the strange looking weeds they have been seeing in the bush for years are actually carnivorous.Long time members are still fascinated by finding different forms and varieties of CPs such as the red D.Peltata subsp Peltata ,found in 2008 in Western Victoria and the fringed petaled D. Peltata from the north west of Melbourne.Past locations have included Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve,Cranbourne Botanic gardens,Panton Hills,Anglesea ,the Grampians and Falls creek.Over the years almost every type of known CP native to Victoria has been seen in the wild on VCPS field trips.Every member is welcome to come along as are family and friends. It can be a great introduction to the VCPS so please joinin the fun!
The 2012 field trip is yet to be arranged please check back in mid 2012
